This apartment hotel is situated not far from the city centre of Saint-Nazaire, in the Ville-Port district. The area is famous due to the huge 300 metre long bunker, which was used as a submarine base during the Second World War and which separates the town from its harbour. At the end of the 20th century it underwent an extensive rehabilitation under the design of the famous Catalan architect Manuel de Sola, who had succeed in making the submarine base the new artistic and touristic centre of the town and giving back its identity as a maritime city.
